Jewish Star is operated by Judaism Alive, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to strengthen Jewish identity, leadership, engagement, and community among teens and young adults through leadership training, mentorship, music, and immersive Jewish experiences.

Application Forms
If you apply for or register for a Jewish Star program, event, activity, or opportunity, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you, including but not limited to your name, address, phone number, email address, school, age, organizational affiliation, parent/guardian information (if applicable), and other information necessary to process your application or registration and communicate with you.

This information is used to process applications and registrations, communicate regarding Jewish Star opportunities and activities, and support participant engagement and program coordination.

Recommendations and Referrals
Jewish Star recruits and participants may be recommended or referred to us by educators, synagogues, camps, youth organizations, mentors, alumni, peers, family members, or other community connections.

As part of our recruitment and outreach efforts, we may collect and maintain contact information and related information necessary to communicate about Jewish Star opportunities and activities.

Communications from the Site

Newsletters
If you subscribe to our newsletter or updates, we will use your name and email address to send newsletters, announcements, and updates related to Jewish Star and Judaism Alive programs and activities.

Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we may communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide services and information you request, and to support your participation in Jewish Star programs and activities.

We may share aggregated demographic information about our participants, applicants, and user base with funders, program partners, collaborators, community organizations, and supporters. This information does not identify individual users.

We do not link aggregate user data with personally identifiable information.
